Growth Energy Welcomes Reeve Agri-Energy As New Plant Member

Washington, DC  - Aug. 22, 2017 - Today Growth Energy, the preeminent trade association for U.S. ethanol producers and supporters, welcomed Reeve Agri-Energy as its newest plant member. 

Located in Garden City, Kansas, Reeve Agri-Energy began production as an integrated ethanol plant and cattle feed lot in 1982. In response to the announcement, Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor issued the following statement:  “Reeve Agri-Energy embodies the spirit of American ingenuity and progress that is imbued throughout the ethanol industry and our membership. By optimizing their plant to produce clean-burning, high-octane biofuel, while providing valuable cattle feed to the Reeve Cattle

“We’ve been in this business since 1982, and we’re a family owned plant, which is extremely rare today.

"We’re currently working on renovation projects for the ethanol plant, and have heard throughout the years that Growth Energy has been doing great work on behalf of the ethanol industry, so we’re very excited to be joining them as a member.”
