Advanced Biofuels Association Responds to EPA Commitment to Announce RVOs June 1Date Posted: April 13, 2015 Today the EPA released its consent decree in response to the AFPM and API law suit over missing the RVO deadlines. ABFA is delighted to see that EPA will formally release the proposed rule for 2014, 2015 and 2016 by June 1st. As ABFA has consistently urged, we are also pleased that the existing production numbers will be utilized in formulation of the 2014 final numbers. This agreement, if executed, will certainly help advance the development of the next generation of biofuels. We are grateful to the EPA for committing to this timeframe for action. ABFA will continue to work with the Administration and Congress to strengthen the RFS to foster the next generation of biofuels.
