Agresti Biofuels LLC Partners With Vietnamese Firm Phuc Yen Co. to Build Garbage-to-Ethanol Plant (IBJ)

Indianapolis—AGRESTI Biofuels LLC (AGRESTI), an Indianapolis-based company providing innovative solutions to reduce dependency on foreign fuel and landfills, announced Jan. 14 that it has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Viet Nam's Phuc Yen Company and local business partners Mr. Ngo Xuan Tiec and Mr. Thien Luong to create a joint business entity named AGRESTI, Viet Nam (AVN) for the purpose of marketing, building and operating municipal waste-to-ethanol facilities in the country.

AVN will employ the patented GeneSyst Gravity Pressure Vessel (GPV) technology invented by James Titmas to produce ethanol and other saleable products in Viet Nam.

The MOA was reached Dec. 22, 2008, in Ho Chi Minh City.

The MOA underscores the urgent international need for alternative clean energy and represents AGRESTI's commitment in providing global solutions.

AGRESTI anticipates starting construction on its first U.S. project in Pike County, KY, in spring 2009.
