Changes Company Name to VerdezyneDate Posted: November 12, 2008 Laguna Hills, CA—CODA Genomics announced Nov. 11 that the company will begin doing business under the name Verdezyne,Inc., effective immediately. Verdezyne employs its biology expertise and proprietary advanced computational algorithms to design and synthesize novel, high-diversity gene libraries for engineering proteins, metabolic pathways, and microorganisms. The company creates and harnesses this unique biological diversity to optimize commercial fermentation processes used to manufacture platform chemicals and biofuels. The new name better conveys the company's focus on these key market segments. "This is a very exciting time for our company," said E. William Radany, Ph.D., president and chief executive officer.
