CONFERENCE KICK-OFF Monday, Feb. 6, 10:30 a.m. - Gaylord Palms Convention Center At 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Joe Jobe, CEO of the National Biodiesel Board, kicks off the conference with his "state of the industry" perspective before joining a forum with influential leaders from the oil and gas industry. Then at 3:30 p.m., NBB member Piedmont Fuels will release new results from exciting research into using enzymes to produce biodiesel. CELEBRITY APPEARANCE AT VEHICLE SHOWCASE Tuesday, Feb. 7, 12:30 p.m. - Gaylord Palms Convention Center Don't be late for a surprise celebrity appearance at Tuesday's 12:30 p.m. Biodiesel Vehicle Showcase in the Expo Hall. Among the special features are the unveiling of a one-of-a-kind chopper and an opportunity to meet the driver - and his truck - who set the current land-speed record by clocking 182 mph in his biodiesel-powered Ford F-250. Prior to the Showcase event, Tuesday morning's general session will feature presentations on federal energy policy and biodiesel.
