ConAgra Trade Group Names Eric Watts Director of Business Development for Renewable Energy Group
Omaha, NEConAgra Trade Group (CTG) announced March 18 that Eric Watts was named director of business development and will lead CTGs renewable energy group, which provides price discovery, logistics and risk management solutions for the biofuels industry.
Watts, formerly director of CTGs Oil & Fats unit, has served biofuels producers, both domestically and overseas, since 2000.
As director of business development, Watts will manage key producer relationships and oversee the delivery of key services, including first-class, transparent procurement and marketing services for CTG partners, infrastructure solutions to enhance supply chain management, and innovative risk management and pricing alternatives spanning the agricultural and energy markets.
"We are very pleased to leverage CTGs position as a leader in the renewable energy input and output markets by adding Eric's years of success in trading financial and physical commodities both in the United States and internationally," said Greg Heckman, president and chief operating officer of ConAgra Foods Commercial Products, which includes ConAgra Trade Group.
