DICKEY-john Introduces GAC 2500 Grain Analysis Computer

Date Posted: March 7, 2010

Auburn, IL—DICKEY-john has added of the GAC 2500 Grain Analysis Computer to its existing family of grain moisture analysis products.

This unit was developed for commercial use with the newest 149 MHz analysis technology, a UGMA grain moisture algorithm developed by the USDA/FGIS.

UGMA provides a reduction in the number of grain calibrations required to deliver precise moisture results.

Load cell technology, improved mechanics, and fast infrared temperature compensation has made the unit more responsive providing a shorter analysis time.

This results in faster sample runs that are extremely important during busy seasons.

The unit is equipped with NTEP calibrations for all grain types. DICKEY-john’s GAC 2100 calibrations and non-NTEP calibrations can operate in this unit including specialty calibrations such as walnuts, almonds, and coffee.

The GAC 2500 features an easy-to-use color touch screen that guides users through the grain testing process and customization of system settings.

A large internal memory capacity stores an extensive calibration library and allows storage of sample data including customer ID’s and information.

The unit is equipped with USB, ethernet, and RS232 serial port connections for installing calibrations and downloading software. External devices such as a keyboard, mouse, and printer can connect direct to unit for convenient user interface.

An optional computer remote access application allows viewing of test results as tests are performed at a remote computer location away from the actual testing area.

Units will be available for purchase in May, 2010, through our exclusive national distributor, GSF, Inc.

Units are available now for a trial test period by contacting GSF at phone number 800-627-6702.
