InterStates Engineering Promotes Jaron Vande Hoef to Senior Project Manager, Principal

Sioux Center, IA—Interstates Companies announced Jan. 5 that Jaron Vande Hoef, P.E. has been promoted to “Senior Project Manager, Principal” with Interstates Engineering.

“Jaron leads by example as a project leader at Interstates,” says Doug Post, President, Interstates Engineering.

“Jaron has successfully led many of our complex projects. He has been instrumental in ramping up our project-level sales efforts and has regularly been the first to implement change initiatives through his projects. He is making a core level impact on our company.”

Vande Hoef is also the point person on Interstates Engineering’s manpower planning efforts and shares business development responsibilities.

Reflecting on his career with Interstates Engineering, Vande Hoef says, “When you first join Interstates Engineering, you are required to plan and write 5-year goals. That process made me think deeply about what I wanted for myself and for my team. I have since accomplished those goals and look forward to continuing to grow in my career with Interstates.”

Vande Hoef joined Interstates in 2002 and has previously held various project engineering and team leadership positions.

His industry project experience includes biodiesel, seed processing, feed and grain, pet food, ethanol, energy management, and others.

Vande Hoef has written several articles including “Utility Management Provides Savings” for Ethanol Producer Magazine and a three-part series on preventing dust explosions for Feedstuffs.
