Meet the Man Behind the Scenes at Grainnet.com: Greg Sullivan, Grainnet Editor

Greg Sullivan, Grainnet editor, joined the Grain Journal’s group of magazines and online media in March, 2008.

Not many people know he is the man behind the scenes for many of Grainnet’s electronic news media.

He administrates the webinars, posts up to 75 news articles per day for the web sites for Grain Journal, Biofuels Journal and Milling Journal magazines, and conducts as well as edits podcast interviews.

His other duties include:

• Compiling, editing, and issuing nine electronic newsletters for the grain and feed, biofuels, milling, wind, and seed industries.

• Writing profiles for Milling Journal and Grain Journal.

• Marketing of Grainnet events such as webinars.

• Administering electronic "blasts" for the magazines and individual advertisers.

Education

Sullivan earned:

• A bachelor of arts degree in history from East Central University, Ada, OK, 1996.

• A master of arts degree in english from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, 2000.

• A master of science degree at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, 2007.

Greg and his wife Carmella live in Decatur with their daughter, Hannah.
