Renewable Energy Attorney Joins Stoel Rives in San Diego

San Diego, CA—The law firm of Stoel Rives LLP announced Sept. 22 that Brian Nese has joined the San Diego office as an attorney in the Energy group.

Nese will focus his practice on renewable energy clients, with a particular emphasis on project development, regulatory matters and civil litigation.

Nese previously was an associate in the Los Angeles branch of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, a New York-based law firm specializing in securities, finance, commodities and litigation services.

At Stroock, Nese represented clients in civil litigation and regulatory matters before federal and state agencies.

His energy practice focused on FERC compliance, grid interconnection and markets for environmental attributes.

He will be working with Stoel Rives clients on wind and solar development projects throughout California and the West.

Nese received his J.D. from the University of Southern California Law Center with order of the coif distinction, and a B.A. from Georgetown University.
