Sure Seal Appoints Eric Melton Biofuels Sales Manager

Mason, OH—Sure Seal, a division of the OPW Fluid Transfer Group, announced Feb. 26 the appointment of Eric Melton to the position of Biofuels Sales Manager.

Melton, who has been with the OPW Fluid Transfer Group for three-and-a-half years, was most recently Midwestern Regional Sales Manager for Sure Seal and OPW FTG where he covered a 14-state territory in the chemical/industrial markets.

"Eric has been a major asset for Sure Seal and OPW FTG in his time with the company and is more than ready to step into this new role," said Tim Warning, President of OPW FTG’s Chemical and Industrial Market Unit.

"His previous work has enabled him to develop lasting relationships with many distributors, OEMs and end-users, and this experience will be a major benefit to him, and OPW FTG, as he moves forward in his new position," Warning said.

Per his appointment, Melton will focus on the renewable fuels markets consisting of grain-based ethanol, cellulosic ethanol and biodiesel production at all levels, from new construction to expansions/conversions of existing plants.

He will also work closely with equipment manufacturers that provide systems to the renewable-fuels industry while using Sure Seal valves and automation devices.

"Sure Seal's products are ideal for the biodiesel, ethanol and related biofuels industries, and Eric has the experience and background for the job," Schriever added.

Melton has nearly 20 years of experience in industrial fluid-transfer markets.

He began as a valve/automation tech and held Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales & Marketing positions in the industry before moving to Sure Seal in 2004.
