American Energy Holdings Plans to Construct Cellulosic Ethanol Plant in New Milford, CTDate Posted: August 24, 2009 New Milford, CT—American Energy Holdings and Investments, Inc., a subsidiary of American Energy Enterprises, Incorporated (AEE) of Brookfield, Connecticut, has submitted an offer to buy the Century Enterprises/Brass Mill property located in New Milford, CT to construct, open and assign AEE Distilleries, Inc. to operate a 24 to 50 Million gallon per year cellulosic ethanol distillery providing an alternative, environmentally friendly, renewable fuel source for the region. AEE Distilleries, Inc., in cooperation with a major ethanol engineering firm and two Biotechnology science companies will manage the ethanol distillery within the former Brass Mill’s 300,000 square foot facility. The plan is to use plant matter (biomass) and wood waste materials for the source of the material to make ethanol. Items presently considered waste products such as timber harvesting residues, sawdust and yard wastes can be converted into ethanol with no impact on the food chain. By the use of two scientific methods, AEE Distilleries has already proven in its testing that non food ethanol is a viable product for automobile use. The New England states collectively have over one billion tons annually in biomass waste most of which could be used for ethanol production. AEE Distilleries intends to use the rail lines and five spurs servicing the Brass Mill site to transport the majority of its raw materials in and then its finished products out. This minimizes the use of transportation energy and transportation fuel. The distillery will produce other saleable products with zero waste and zero pollution. Byproducts include Gypsum (used to make dry-wall); furfural (used as fertilizer) and liquid CO2 which can be used as dry-ice. The AEE process also provides over 5 to 7 Mega Watts of continuous Electricity which will be sold to the power grid as a clean source renewable energy for Connecticut. The distillery will produce its own power and energy to operate and intends to utilize other sources of green energy such as wind and solar power. AEE Distilleries, Inc., intends to utilize primarily Connecticut management and labor for the construction and operation. The Company is seeking joint ventures throughout the town and region in developing the most efficient methods available and supporting the local economy. The distillery will provide 200+ new jobs from scientific lab technicians to logistics personnel to plant labor. In addition, American Energy Enterprises, Incorporated is committed to supporting the region’s schools by providing endowments, internships, field trips and an educational center at the facility. Eventually through its internship program, AEE intends to offer student development for high school and college students interested in a career in alternative energy. American Energy Enterprises, Incorporated was founded in 2005 by Christopher Brown, Nicholas M. Schmidt and Greg Chickneas. The company has been developing its business model, planning, science, and engineering alliances and is prepared to bring the first Commercial Ethanol Distillery to New England and plans to grow with distilleries throughout the Northeast over time. AEE is contracting with a local entity, True North Industries, to task their property maintenance and tree care company as the lead source for collecting biomass material for the distillery’s operation. The ethanol from this distillery will be brought to market to be blended into an E85 fuel for flex-fuel vehicles providing a lower cost automobile fuel that is cleaner for the environment, that will reduce oil imports and provide economic benefits to Americans. In 1925, Henry Ford recognized that there is fuel in all vegetation. Eighty years later, AEE will help develop this alternate energy. For more information, call 203-775-6624. Advanced Biofuels
