Welcome to another edition of Seed Today's twice-monthly seed industry
E-newsletter. These reports contain news from seed companies, seed industry
suppliers as well as national and international news sources.
A winter storm that
blanketed the Midwest with snow and ice Nov. 30 - Dec. 1 caused widespread
power outages in central Illinois. Fallen ice-covered trees damaged
power lines and disrupted Internet service to the Seed Today office.
As a result, we were unable to broadcast the Dec. 5 F.Y.I Seed News
e-newsletter on schedule. We regret any inconvenience caused by the
delayed broadcast. Joe Funk, Seed Today editor.
