Biotechnology Innovation Organization Welcomes Edeniq, Inc. as Industrial and Environmental Section Member

Washington, D.C. - July 21, 2017 - The Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) today announced 11 companies have joined the Industrial & Environmental Section in the past year, with Edeniq, Inc. as the newest.

The announcement comes at the start of the 2017 BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology, the world’s largest industrial biotechnology and partnering event, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal in Montréal, Québec, Canada.

Brent Erickson, executive vice president of BIO’s Industrial & Environmental Section, welcomed the members, stating, “BIO has established itself as the undisputed leader among Washington trade associations in representing the entire value chain of the biobased economy.

"The new members we welcomed this year include established and start-up companies producing renewable chemicals, biobased materials, and advanced or cellulosic biofuel developers.

"They come from across the entire value chain from agriculture through advanced technology to innovative new products.”
